Credit report

A credit report is the detailed record a credit bureau keeps on you, listing every loan and credit card account you have held, your payment history month by month, current outstanding balances, and every hard inquiry lenders have made on your profile. Your CIBIL score (or equivalent from another bureau) is a three-digit summary calculated from this underlying report, so two people with similar scores can still have meaningfully different reports depending on the specific details behind that number.

Frequently asked questions
No, the score is a single number derived from your report. The report itself is the full, detailed document listing every account and payment on record.
RBI rules entitle you to one free, full credit report every calendar year from each of India's four licensed bureaus, directly through their own official websites.
