CUB SalarySe Level UP Credit Card: full review
CUB Level UP is one of the more genuinely useful SalarySe-partnership cards, largely because of real lounge access at a low fee - something its RBL sibling does not offer at all. The advertised 37.5% reward figure is a marketing headline more than a practical rate, so judge this card on its real 1-2% SalarySe UPI rates and the lounge access, not the eye-catching number.

Pros and cons
Pros
✓ Meaningful lounge access at an accessible ₹500 fee, rare at this price point
✓ Real accelerated rewards for SalarySe UPI users, including a strong salary-day bonus
✓ Flexible: choose the free virtual-only card or pay for the fuller physical version
✓ Reasonably low forex markup on the physical variant
Cons
✗ The headline 37.5% Salary Day figure is misleading marketing - it works out to about 7.5% effective, only on 2 days a month, only via SalarySe UPI
✗ Lounge access and the better 1% forex rate are both physical-card only, not on the free virtual variant
✗ Broad category exclusions apply, consistent with other SalarySe-partnership cards
✗ No income or credit score criteria published specifically for this card
